VISAS

All passengers to China require a visa ( except Chinese passport holders). Please see below for our schedule of costs.

The above cost includes the Chinese Embassy fee, CVASC’s service fee and our service fee.

In the event that your application for a visa is declined the above fees are Non-refundable.

What is required for a tourist visa?
To apply for a tourist visa we require your passport (must be valid for 6 months after your arrival back into the UK and 2 full blank pages), one passport sized photograph and the completed application form for each traveller.

What is required for a business visa?
To apply for your business visa, in addition to the documents for a tourist visa, we require a business invitation letter issued by a mainland Chinese inviter. Please note the requirements for visa applications may vary from time to time. Please enquire with our staff at the time of travel for up to date information.

Delivery of documents
We strongly recommend that all passports are posted to us by Special Delivery. A pre-paid Special Delivery Envelope needs to be included for returning your documents or this envelope can be purchased from us at £5. The visa cost does not include Special Delivery postal charges. We cannot be held responsible for any delay or loss of passports to or from our office.

Tibetan Permits
All travellers to Tibet are required to obtain a Tibetan Permit. We can help you with this, please enquire for details of costs and conditions.

Travellers in Transit
Regulations governing transit passengers are currently being reviewed by the Chinese authorities. Please enquire with our staff at the time of travel to ensure you are aware of the current requirements.

Tourist Visa

Full Application Form, and one recent passport photograph;
A copy of outward and return flight ticket booking  
 A copy of Chinese hotel booking

Business Visa

Full Application Form, and one recent passport photograph;
 Visa Notification Form (which is issued by the relevant department of Chinese government, companies or institution. Under the authorization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Detailed information can be obtained form the Foreign Affairs Office of the relevant province, autonomous region and municipality where the inviting party resides.) ;
A copy of outward and return flight ticket booking;                                                                        
 A copy of Chinese hotel booking;

Work Visa

Full Application Form, and one recent passport photograph;                                                                                            
An employment permit from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security or the State Administration of Foreign Experts of China;
An invitation letter from a relevant Department of Chinese Government or a government-authorized company;

Student Visa

Full Application Form, & one recent passport photograph;
Form : JW-201 or JW - 02 issued by the Ministry of Education of China
A letter of admission from a Chinese University /College.

Transit Visa

Full Application Form, and one recent passport photograph; 
A copy of outward and return flight ticket booking;
A copy of Chinese hotel booking;
 A valid visa for the country of destination;

Journalist Visa

Full Application Form, and one recent passport photograph; 
A letter from a relevant Department of Chinese government;
A letter from the employer
